Rama Subramaniam Gandhi is a financial sector policy expert and an advisor. He has expertise in banking and non-banking regulation, payment systems, financial markets, fintech and currency management. He was a Deputy Governor for the Reserve Bank of India for three years, from 2014-2017.

He was also the Director of Research in Banking Technology, Hyderabad. He is seasoned and accomplished central banker for 37 years. He also had a three-year secondment to SEBI.
